"Kojak" was another American Cop series, this one about a detective called Kojak based in New York

Every time I turn around it seems another traditional English word has been replaced by its US counterpart. Guarantees are warranties, brand-new is state-of-the-art, biscuits are as often as not cookies, buns are cupcakes, bums are buns, tramps are bums...

All roads lead to Rome I suppose (figuratively speaking).

@e0o9kii Sorry ran out of room. Anyway in this word people in general tend to be some kind of low life one way or the other witch seems to get worse when the world is in a financial crisis. The people become douche bags and the one who already were douche bags become douche nozzles. So in conclusion you're right life get's into the same repreative BS all the time witch makes it boreing and seeing as there's no were to get away from it all, that makes it pretty much unbearable.

@e0o9kii I hear you I'm Russian American here in NY and i have to say it's true The US is in the tolit economically and England is not far behind with all of the riots due to the cutbacks on medical,millitary pension paymeants etc and the euro dollar is in bad shape b/c Greece,Spain and Italy have great debts and are ready to default on their loan paymeants. Oh and now Germany will have to pick up this mess witch will wreck their economy. I guess no matter were in the world you are life sucks!
