Somehow the Hammond tone made me visualize blue and purple fire, while the guitar tone is ice. Just saying.
And Oleo is hard as hell for a noob like me.

These folks are amazing at their craft. Very tasteful drum solo. Love the tuning on the kit and the cymbal sound. The sound recording is excellent and the vidoe shots are fantastic. One of the best jazz videos i've seen.

I keep coming back to this vid, so damn tight! I'm so glad I've got to see Pat and Joey play live, but I'd love to see them together too! BTW I love the way they play the head with those notes hanging in the air like that!

Pat's the greatest!

Why would I mention Calerazzo ? Joey Defrancesco is the organist here in this cut.Maybe that is who you meant.I didn't write his last name because like now I wasn't sure of my spelling of his name but a rose by any other name is still a rose...( I also may misspell William's last name ... haha.)

Joey? did you mean calderazzo?I agree it was terrific!

1:00, the greatest guitar solo in jazz that I have ever heard. I am not claiming that it is the greatest ever, but f*** me that is good stuff.

Roll over Gershwin , you're not under Tin Pan Alley anymore . "I Got Rhythm" has taken another turn , a far cry from those great piano rolls. Martino sounds reborn with Joey. Thanks for the upload and your time .
Hey, man. That's old school Philly & Newark NJ. Jimmy Smith, Jimmy McGriff, little clubs on the boardwalk in the summer. That's just \\\\ their Sound \\\\. These guys never moved on to synthesizers. Just a Hammond B-3 blowin' thru a Leslie speaker. Pure. Old School.
