Drugs to make terrorists talk? Brain research to build a better soldier? Future robot armies? Sounds sci-fi, but according to Dr Jonathan Moreno, Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress, many of these technologies are here and more are on the way. Neuroscience research is growing at an exponential rate, a fact Moreno explores in his new book, "Mind Wars".

  • this is what 9/11 and iraq is based on. look at how many americans support killing middle easterners because theyre made to feel threatened by the government. muslims pose mininal threat, only the ones whos families you killed, fear your government and media deception

  • I like his attempt at making this new sciences sound perfectly fine. The 'ethical challenges' he talks about at the begining are convincing you dumb smucks to accept it as normal...

Nothing that 30 years of constant daily propoganda can't fix ;D

  • Our brains might already have been hijacked and we wouldn't even know it!

  • @odenskrigare Regarding your comments here, just consider that the implants are being used to make people act in such a way that they encourage war and Chaos.. Now you start to see the real issue? The Military Industrial Complex and Secret Intelligence Agencies that have this technology are using it to make problems, not to stop them...

  • The problem is that the truly evil, demon possessed people on this planet, the Freemasons, have this technology, and they control the government, so they are using these technologies to protect their own criminal gangs, all over the world.

  • The ultimate neuroweapon per Wiki: The Microwave Auditory Effects. Also the Wiki entry for "Electrolasers" These & other "non-lethals" are being perfected using innocent civilians as has always been the case. They are used to remotely induce rapid heart beat, nausea, burning sensations, shocks, simulated depression, sexual arousal, or mental acuity. The usual reaction from the public is disbelief as if describing magic or fantasy. This is all old technology.

  • @mozaks80 (contd) so what? Just because you've met decent muslims doesn't mean isalm is decent, it means they are decent in spite of it and actually- I don't think any person who buys muhammed as a role model is decent really. It would be nice if you could separate the person and the religion that's been drilled into them, not terribly realistic. I don't think the issues I draw with the american gvt was my original point, actually.

  • @mozaks80 Who's nervous twitch are you referring to? Because from what I can see the response towards anything Islamic tends be be much more about how we must appease it (you know- anti blasphemy laws in the UN etc etc). I don't think I ever said it was JUST islam, but I think you'll find there's a bit of a difference in what the current debates are concerning christianity (should gays marry?) and Islam (should gays live?), let's refer to the quran.

  • @Bumblybee256 No, I did not refer to YOUR nervous twitch. It would be so nice to believe that only one religion/ideology/following is being used as a screen for wrong doing, but that is simply not the case. Think it incorrect if you will, but you are sadly mistaken. I've met good and bad people of islamic, jewish and christian faith (or tag it what you will), person first, religion second. So, to go back to your first response, you see absolutely no issue with how the US govt acts after 911?

  • @mozaks80 Oh, what a very multicultural response, unfortunately it's inaccurate. There are huge distinctions to be made between religions which promote insults to human rights, like sharia law and those which do not. You think it reasonable that I have a 'nervous twitch' in response to something that would remove my rights if it could? Get one things straight here- it is not 'xenophobia', Islam is not a race, it is an ideology.
