That's why I love Katharine Hepburn :) She gives life to each word she says on screen like it's really her. She puts herself to that character. My grandpa who died almost 10 years ago loved Kate. I think I got it from him! ;)

  • I have to do this scene in my first year acting class. I'm in a three year relationship and my partner is engaged. It is pretty hilarious.

  • One of my favorite movies...has been ever since I was a young girl.

  • This movie is so underated! A cast of Lancaster, Hepburn, Lloyd Bridges, Earl Holliman, WOW. And there are so many great lines here it'll make your head spin.

My favorites are Hepburn: You spend your whol life looking up searching for a star and just when you know you will never get it, you look down and there it is shining in the palm of your hand"

Also; Holliman, You got to get a women the way a woman gets got.

    Priceless

  • Boy, ChaosControl1997, do I know what you mean. I have low self esteem too. I saw this movie when I was nine. I loved it even then. I don't know how I could of related to Lizzie as such an early age, but I did. This movie can still make me cry too. I wish it was all up here on youtube.

  • I have not watched this whole movie, but I did catch this part on tv once. It made me cry, I don't have great self esteem, I know how it feels to be her even when my husband says I look nice I still don't see it. Maybe I should look a little harder.
