Point? Did I say I was condoning the attempt to convert anyone or that I was trying to convert anyone myself? No. I did not. I'm not trying to force my views on you; therefore, I see no point in you trying to down my views or anyone else who feels the same who isn't trying to convert you. They're our own views. I've done you no wrong. That being said, generalizing people and throwing everyone into one category is retarded, because we don't all do the same things or share the exact same views. =/

Urgh I hate people who bitch and whine about people who 'rag' on religious people, because you have all your preachers who are constantly trying to convert us, and that definatley isn't going to stop.

They do What?! o.O That is insane, and completely ridiculous. =/ You can't force your views on others. That's what pisses me off about religious people. -.- You can't make me believe anything. Even torture or death won't make my heart yield to something like a god. I believe in the Christian God because I FEEL Him, I believe. And that's why I do it. If you don't feel anything, I don't see any problem with doubting the existence. it's different for everybody. Force isn't going to prove anything.

Search Tim Minchin - Storm, I'm sure you will be able to relate to that more, it is so very true.

I can sooner agree to this song than Storm. It did make me laugh, but I didn't quite agree with it. Primarily, he said that people who claim to hear God's commands are either lying or mentally ill. I am neither, and yet I claim to hear them. I refer to God's voice mainly as my consicence. People may refute that, but I'm not arguing their beliefs. And this:"Faith is the denial of observation so that belief can be preserved." Mine is not. This is probably the only thing in his song that annoyed me

And I don't like quoting the Bible to prove a point, but I do agree with a phrase in it:"Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen." That may sound contradictory, but it doesn't really matter. It makes sense to me. At the end of Storm, Tim said something like "we'd sooner go back 10min. in time than you change your mind," and he's right. But just because he doesn't believe, why should he rag on the people that do? That girl doesn't count. She sounds retarded.
