  • He's very positive this guy. I like it. I got really upset lately with 2 of my friends both grown up men (?) in their late 30's, during a guided tour as the guide stammered. It was a man in his 60's who didn't try to avoid the words he obviously struggled with. He looked very passionate about his thing. I really felt admiration for the guy and started wondering about the mammoth amount of work he obviously has been doing with himself to finally be able to talk to an audience. Hats off for him.

  • What your mind focuses on you will recieve. If your feeling fear rising then your mind is focused on yourself and not "your" listener. You end up bouncing between the two and things fall apart. If you feel fear caused by anticipating events, again your mind is on yourself, and not the event which needs you. It takes a while to train yourself to do this and it is no cure (there is nothing to be cured). Focus your mind on the listener, only the listener, and not yourself.

  • Type in the search box: 'Overcoming stuttering/stammering' It'll give you a website to where we can overcome and live the life as more than conquerers..

  • I'm a stammer too... I hate it :(

  • I know someone who Stammers and My little bro doses too :)

  • @spectredimension If you stutter, I think it's quite obvious he stutters, but yes, he was having a very good speech day :)

  • @cannoir I disagree, I don't believe we are born with it, it's not neurological...

  • @MisterMagoo27 Yes she did... It's funny how you noticed that... Maybe fluent people would not have noticed... We stutterers do focus too much on speech, we want to be perfect. The truth is, everybody "stutters" at times, although it's not actually stuttering, it's normal speech. She probably didn't even notice it :)

  • @dresssexyatmyfuneral is that poosible lol

  • @spectredimension he clearly controls it very well. Either it is very minor or hes had a lot of therapy to control it.
