I like this series regardless of rude comments from Bible Thumpers. As an occultist I could agree with much of what Michael is saying, how the occult influence early monotheism, including its ritual ceremonies, structure and astrotheology. The reason why most of the religious nut jobs that deny most of the what is said here, is because their religion limits their exposure to outside sources, calling it a blasphemy and those that do break away, are called atheists, infidels or satanaists.

"christianity" and "judaism" are the only religious tradition that says the serpent is evil. why is that that NO other in the entire world says so? Joseph campbell was inspired by Jung and they all spewed the same ideas as blavatsky, hitler and every other initiate of the mystery schools throughout history. In the wild, animals call out when a predator draws near. How was that bird, already wise to the danger and safe in its nest, served by risking the attentions of the predator to protect those it would normally compete with?
