Frank recorded "I'll Be Seeing You" multiple times, the first instance in 1940 with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. In May of 1961, Frank recorded a tribute album to his days with Dorsey in which he re-recorded the tune with a much more uptempo arrangement provided by Dorsey alumnus Sy Oliver who also was conducting the orchestra.
