2 of 3 clips IMPROVED FOOTAGE - Bryant Rams Toronto Cyclist Sheppard - Security Camera views it.

This is better footage of 2 of the 3 available clips. There is a 3rd clip in other videos. (Annotated, Eyewitness, Raw) This is a cut from security camera footage showing the car driven by former Ontario Attorney General Michael Bryant ramming cyclist Darcy Allan Sheppard, immediately prior to Sheppard's death from being dragged down the street, colliding with obstacles and being run over.

This footage appears to be the initial "minor accident" reported in the media. I estimate that Sheppard was pushed along the ground for over a car length.

This footage is from a single report on City News; however it was not presented in such a concise and condemning manner. I am concerned that this footage has been available from very early on, but has been obfuscated thru editing decisions. This has contributed to confusion and possibly unwarranted slander towards Mr. Sheppard, and unfairly protects Bryant from being depicted in a negative manner.

Like it or not, bottom line, the cyclist is dead and Mr. Bryant got off scot-free without any charges...and rightly so.

The cyclist was an aggressive idiot, he had a history of being an aggressive idiot, and now he's dead and won't be an aggressive idiot anymore.

One less aggressive idiot on the road, in my opinion.

unicorn: Actually, my main issue is not the inconclusive evidence claim. My main issue is that it was the attorney general's office (his previous place of work not long before) that came to that conclusion and not a judge. If it was not a politician within the current ruling government, it'd goto trial for man slaughter. But his co-workers decided to toss out the case before any judge could decide whether it should be tossed or not. That is my problem.

those calling for Mr. Bryant's conviction need to give logic a try. the evidence is inconclusive and there is absolutely no justifiable claim for Michael Bryant as the aggessor in this incident. it is a terrible tragedy, no one deserves to die like that. but senseless tragedies happen around the world everyday. the only reason for the ruthless attack on Mr. Bryant's character is because he is more succesful than most. If you were to actually talk to the guy, you wouldn't assume guilt so blindly.

Something no right at AG ministry. Remember prosecution called cyclist attacker in Bryant case? Everything is on video. There is no evidence of the attack. Before the accident he is always at his bike.

As bike gets in front of SAAB, driver suddenly notices it, breaks and car stalls. Pulls forward impatiently. Irritated? Possibly touches rear wheel lightly (Briant's statement), but no damage. Stops. Ramming. Tough to go that far with tight clutch. Breaking with engaged clutch will stall the car immediately. Bryant breaks, but not stalls. He manages his tight clutch well.

Ramming is the first accident. He breaks, immediately reverses, turns wheels, drives forward as cyclist is still getting up. Sheppard is always in front and moves away (left) which indicates he is unstable.
