This is better footage of 2 of the 3 available clips. There is a 3rd clip in other videos. (Annotated, Eyewitness, Raw) This is a cut from security camera footage showing the car driven by former Ontario Attorney General Michael Bryant ramming cyclist Darcy Allan Sheppard, immediately prior to Sheppard's death from being dragged down the street, colliding with obstacles and being run over.

This footage appears to be the initial "minor accident" reported in the media. I estimate that Sheppard was pushed along the ground for over a car length.

This footage is from a single report on City News; however it was not presented in such a concise and condemning manner. I am concerned that this footage has been available from very early on, but has been obfuscated thru editing decisions. This has contributed to confusion and possibly unwarranted slander towards Mr. Sheppard, and unfairly protects Bryant from being depicted in a negative manner.

*** This footage is unaltered except: re-sizing / cropping to fit, brightness contrast adjustment for clarity, cuts between camera angles, and unavoidable artifacts from the video compression algorithms used on the source footages and youtube publishing.

I don't think car drivers have the right to kill a cyclist in the way even if he is drunk and angry or mad or something.

Of course he didn't ram anyone. the drunken violent criminal Sheppard attacked Bryant and his wife and lunged onto their vehicle. Good riddance to bad trash.

Why Bryant ram the cyclist at the stop light if he felt 'threatened'? the cyclists is in front and not within striking distance of any of the occupants. I would judge Bryant to be the aggressor from this video, he clearly showed homicidal intent several times with eventual homicide occurring.

Thanks. Do you work for Bryant? People have double the legal limit of booze of alcohol all the fucking time. Doesn't give you the right to run someone over. Fucking tool.

Yes, he's a successful guy so he must be guilty. The guy that was drunk and antagonistic is poor so he must be innocent, You sound more like an idiot than a Dick but apparently you're both.

Yeah, because Bryant felt that he and his wife were in danger and they had good reason to think that.

I read the book and I thought it was great. None of us can really say much because we werent him in this incident. When someone atop and taunts you and youre fearing for the safety of others you just want to get the heck out of there. If you read the book you will learn that this is not the starting of it. The cyclist was drunk and obstructing traffic and followed Bryant and his wife.
