I did not completely dislike the movie though I actually prefer Smallville over it. But thank god, the next one is written (but not directed) by Christopher freaking Nolan. I suppose it will be good.

@deelow83 I think you might be right. I loved the film. I think Brandon Routh did a superb job. I think he captured the spirit of Chris Reeves, and at the end, what a tribute to Chris and George Reeves in the final flight scene.

@deelow83 Yeah infact the line is what his own father Jor-el tells him in the first superman when he was a baby. he could not be there for him as his dad couldn't as well.

@chiefrstrong I sincerely hope you are a successful troll
i think someone has daddy issues.

@deelow83 What I read about Bryan Singer would suggest he has daddy issues as well as other issues. That could have contributed to his vision of Superman for this movie.

When I say over, you no longer speak to me boy. Keep your pathetic, weak ideals to your insect self. You're unworthy.

@OceanicOsprey Welcome to the real world! In this world we don't ignore the poor representation of the longstanding characteristic values of an American iconic figure, we confront them, criticize them for what they are, and the people whose deranged ideals produced them.
And in the real world an edict from you has as much meaning to me as a parasite on a fleas back dictating what I should feed the dog.
