Goldwater endorses Ron Paul.

This is a comparison between the policies and ideology of Reagan's 1964 speech at the GOP Convention in support of Barry Goldwater and statements made by Ron Paul throughout the primary campaign for the GOP nomination in the 2008 election.

The comparison includes policy beliefs on taxation, inflation, social security, foreign policy, and Constitutionalism.

Introduction from Mike Church - This movie was a collaborative effort between the Rev. X and me. The goal was simple: ALL Republicans profess to crave, no covet! a new Gipper as the Party's nominee. It should go without saying that said nominee should actually BELIEVE in Reagan's core beliefs and his guiding principles...

  • Hey, good job, fella.

  • Thanks to Mike Crunch!

  • So...being like Reagan is a good thing??

  • His ideas and rhetoric yes, but not Regan's record. Dr. Paul has the record to back up his words.

  • Ron Paul would be better than Regan because he's prepaired to back what he says and end the FED's reign, and even Ronald never did that, all though he did acknowledge that the gold standard was important.

  • You may not see it yet, but eventually you will come to realize that the Mainstreem media is not your friend, and is not looking out for your best interest. Lets hope you find out before November why this is a fact, because nobody can TELL you, just gota learn it for your self.

  • @IraqAccountability 1964 Reagan was every bit as controversial and liberty-loving as Dr. Paul is today. He was elected when he was too weak to fight off the neocon influences and statist leaning of the new Republican Party. The point is, that if conservatives want to worship Reagan, they should pay attention to what Reagan stood for.

  • Reagan was not a good leader in any sense. I know I'll get lambasted for saying that, but he really wasn't.

  • that was fucking awesome. All the reagan superfans just came...

  • Neocon FOOLS!!! Libertarians are CRUSHING THE Hype-o-cons.

  • @dermoni08 Actually Ron used Reagan's ideas.

  • @AtlasShruggery Actually the best President this country has had.

  • @clockworkresearch Reagan had the cold wars on his hand, look at his record in California as Governor. Also the president can only go so far in a democrat congress. He tried many times to get a balanced budget amendment and a line item veto for the president. All the attempts were there. Blame the congress and the democrat majority.

  • Ronald Reagan was the biggest fraud ever perpetrated upon the American people.
