  • yah first time i heard this song was from the movie Matilda which was like 11 years ago...

  • tbh i think that 'Send Me On My Way' would of been better than 'Teardrop' for the album...

  • Ok, this song wasn't written for any movies... it got used first for Matilda, and then later on for Ice Age. Both films are fantastic... but instead of focusing on the films, lets focus on the song and Rusted Root?? Jesus christ the things people chose to riot about!

  • He NEEDS to record this!

  • i totally agree with you, matilda and ice age rule, although newton faulkner has really let himself go!! xx

  • Yeah... just for the record, most of us will appreciate it because it was in Matilda, a far better film than stupid ice age.

What a film, what a tune, at least we can all agree on that :)

  • I grew up watching Matilda and its when her mom left and she is making her pancakes this song started to play. One of the only reason why I like to watch "Ice Age" is because this song is in it. Otherwise it came out long before Ice Age came out. Not everybody knows its Matilda's song, I guess. Sorry but I like both movies still and I don't care the song got placed on both movies. So everybody just relax ; ) !

  • someone has a better video of the same place.
