Hangar 9 has become a huge name just like great planes but they now seem to have started missing things. I admire you dude such a great loss and you are still smiling. I know how it feels when you lose a plane, I lost 2 Hangar 9's P51 Mustang, one due to receiver failure one was my mistake inverted high speed low pass, and GP's Escapade fluttering & again receiver problem. But we guys are so persistent, we would never give up and continue to fly no matter what. Got me a Strega 40 ARF Now :)

just a scratch no worries!

why arent there any sound?

Hangar 9 corsair has a worse issue, wings fold under heavy load, crumple like foil. nice LOOKING planes but have some issues.

I agree, I really don't see how this was Hangar 9's fault. Whenever you do things out of design parameters, you are asking for trouble.

Well! That was a nice plane, lol. In my opinion that crash was simply by going the wrong way with the controls. Look at the elevators after the plane hit the ground(4:29) you will see..

Dude...What a shame!!!! That was one kick-ass plane...From my own perspective your flying experience seems to be more than adequate.I've seen similiar cases where the pushrod loses its torque due to excessive flexibility.I agree with your advice of a servo mounted closer to the stab.H9 needs to fix the problem.I also admire the fact that you kept your composure after the crash!!!!
Thanks for posting.
damn, they killed my audio!

You guys are way too much. Who the hell said anything about me trying to get a new plane from Horizon? Steak happens to be correct that it was nothing but a warning. Just for the record I by no means a newbie to flying and i happen to know whith 100 percent accuracy that it was a faliure in the elevator. And in the end of the video I do make the statement that speed was a factor, but I feel if they caution you on one plane they should do the same on the other. You guys have serious issues...

Well why then would they recommend a .75 if its too much for the plane to handle. Thats for the positive comment. Didn't mommy ever tell you that if you have nothing nice to say that you shouldnt say anything at all?

actually I think it was the P-51 they recommend rear placement of the servo, anyhow, its one or the other...

Not a bad idea.. I know they recommend placement of the servo in the rear for the P-47 if flying "Aerobatics"... Why not the hellcat?
