you know what after reading some of these comments i realise how lucky i am to have both my parents even tho i dont always realise it, thanks for opening my eyes and i just hope and pray that life gets better for everyone who is struggling to find the good in this world

My dad's the same but he only goes home on weekends and only on family occasions. At school when we talked abt. family it reminded me of my dad who wasn't always beside me. I wish I can show this to my dad, but I don't have the guts to do it.

@sakurafanable U should show this to ur dad. U never know, it could open his eyes. He'll never know how you feel about him being absent if you never tell him. So take a a small jump. Talk to him first, and if he doesn't listen then take a big jump and show him this video. He may surprise u and catch u.

@TheHeterohomo It gets better. I promise. Surround yourself with ppl who love u 4 u. Who accepts u no matter what, & the pain u feel about not having him around gets smaller. I'm not saying it goes away, bcuz it doesn't. It never will, but u have the power 2 either let it consume u, or make u a better person. Besides my friends & the family I can stand 2 be around, I made myself a promise 2 be a better person then my father ever could be. It gets better, I promise.

not haveing a dad who loved me use to make me sad but you have to relize whould you rather have no father or a father who fights with your other parent 24/7

would you rather have some one who has a small temper or a huge heart that would cry for days && years if you died?

3yrs-daddy hurts mommy and me with bruises ..

3yrs-dad leaves .

5yrs-almost get raped by him .

7yrs-he tells me he loves his computer then he will ever love me .

71/2yrs-he breaks my arm .

8yrs-he is touching me a lot ..

10yrs-My mom took me to his house & 1wk in hes having woman meet me already and i would cry in the night to the strange sound they made ..

11yrs-first time he said 'i love you' in the past 3 years ..

13yrs-I'm stronger now and said 'Bye Mike' for my last words .

@LaQuis2006 how could it get any better my dad divorsed my mom wheni was 1 and a half years old he's never been there for me he never calles never emails me... anything! I dont talk to my dad he dont talk to me and it hurts but i dont care how much it hurts he is nothing to me. i have had no father figure in my life and i never will so life sucks...
