Thank goodness for the art of sampling that brings generations together. This is amazing, but I fear I never would have come across it had i never heard it sampled by Tommy Mas in Action Bronson's 'Beautiful Music'. Parents, please pass songs like these on to your kids. Please.

This is the man that Will Downing is trying to copy...but it will never happen because Jon is an original with pure soul. This song and album was the soul of New York after the black revolution. All the beautiful black people had this album (Rashida) in their collection. And it was the song to play to get your favorite woman in the mood...damn I miss those days..where did they go?

Been a fan since the 70's.Saw him in Philly 2 times one of the shows was free on Penn"s Landing. WOW WHAT A SHOW!!!!!!! PURE LOVE. One of the GREATS. THANK YOU SO MUCH JON.
