Cheers Dereck, I bought this last week, excellent stuff...bar the last track ;) wouldn't normally buy anything from the 60's as it's sometimes a bit twee for me.

Thanks Dereck, I have got a copy on the way. It sounds like my kind of stuff!

Again, your musical knowledge blows me out of the water to which I would rather be in on this 100+ degree day in Massachusetts. There are written rumors regarding Jimmy Page playing on this album Dereck. I read that Chris Dreja took front and back cover shots of the record. That would be the perfect question to ask him via his newly launched website. In fact, the sellers on eBay are putting both Jimmy Page and Zeppelin as tags next to the title. I am buying this stat~
Your the best,
Rob/Boston

Hi Dereck. I'm going to give extracts of a write-up on this album from Richard Morton Jack's excellent book, "Galactic Ramble", which I think would be right up your street. "This enigma's real name was Robert Cromwell Anson. He started his musical career as a London jazz drummer named Phil Kinorra...playing with Graham Bond, Don Rendell, Brian Auger and others. In 1966 he changed his name to Julian Covey, founded a band called The Machine, became a draw in mod clubs...tbc.
cont. ...and had a minor hit with "Sweet bacon"" (Don't remember this at all). "At the end of the decade he changed his name again...to Philamore Lincoln and recorded a couple of 45s and this likely US only album". Morton Jack then goes on to state he doubts the Yardbirds were involved in this project. "Lincoln...went on to produce an album for prog-rockers Paladin, after which the trail goes cold."

Nice one Dereck....I wouldn't normally go near 60s stuff, but this is really good. I'm tempted!
