Some really LOUD and FLASHY 10mm handloads.

These were 7.6gr of PowerPistol behind a 180gr Berry's Plated TC in Starline brass.

Fired from a Glock 20 with EFK Firegdragon SS Match barrel and 22# Wolf Recoil Spring.

Interestingly, the same load did not yield a similar muzzle blast when firing cast lead, so I decided to take this video. BTW, 10mm indoors is pretty loud.

  • So I'm currently loading my 10mm cast-lead 180gr reloads @ 8.3gr Power Pistol per starting load in the Lee Handbook.

They run right around 1240fps. They're definitely powerful, as I'm working my Pb 10mm loads up to full potential.

  • Check out the Buffalo Bore 180gr. I think they are the best and most consistant.

  • @Goldie10mm Nah, too expensive. Why buy when you can 'roll your own' for $.05 a piece?

  • whats the velocity on that load??

  • @MrGlocknload Should be right around 1160.

  • @TheGreatDaneR 1160 fps from a 10mm is a fairly light load if I'm not mistaken?

  • @abzdefg321123 yeah, it was right around 50% from the lyman 180gr FMJ data.
