Apartment 26 is from Leamington Spa, England. They played Ozzfest in 1999 and split up in 2004. They worked with Tchad Blake, at Real World Studios, on their self-financed "Music For The Massive", having scrapped "Album 1.5" after 2 years of production. The result was a much tighter band, and looser "live" sound, captured by Blake by making the band perform live in the studio. After selling the finished record to Atlantic/Wea, the label shed half of its roster during a merge with Elektra Records, including Apartment 26. The single "Give Me More" was a minor Modern Rock hit in 2004.

Their name comes from David Lynch's Eraserhead, in which the character lives in Apartment 26. Vocalist Biff Butler is the son of Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler.

  • the person who disliked this song should kill themself.

  • @Simba93ish Nobody's perfect.

  • I copied and pasted the information for this video from the Apartment 26 wikipedia article. At the time, the article claimed the band was "industrial", now thats been replaced with the label "alternative". Go figure. I've removed the word "industrial" from this video's information. Cateforize this band anyway you want to. Either you like the song or you don't.

  • love this band and song i havnt seen the video in a long ass time so glad you have thanks man

  • @XOtericate you dont have to be so forgiving haha.

  • I miss this band. I saw them live twice, hung out with them the second concert I went to, and got both my cd's autographed too!

  • Oh and Mudvayne is definitely nu metal :) Hence how they're on the radio in the first place. I can't think of a single CURRENT metal band that gets air play on a generic rock station (any ideas?)..... only old metal gets some play, and that's generally on classic rock radio. Tool = Awesome beyond words. Mudvayne = make even Mushroomhead look good.

  • How the hell can this be considered be "very much industrial"? Ugh I don't even know where to begin when I hear nonsense like that. It's like hearing someone call the Beatles Emo... Actual "industrial rock" (we'll assume this is any band/performer under the huge umbrella of industrial that uses guitars or synthesized guitar riffs): KMFDM Birmingham 6 NIN's FIRST album in '89 P.H.M. Ministry Thrill Kill Kult Lords of Acid Slick Idiot Pig etc etc etc. This is nothing even remotely close.
