Uptown Shooting at Broadway and Wilson, 27 June 2010 Slideshow

At least two people were struck by flying bullets at approximately 9:25 p.m. tonight in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood. Four shots, perhaps five, were heard at that time as thousands of Gay Pride post-parade partiers were walking through the intersection of W. Wilson and N. Broadway. Police are ineffective in reducing crime. Armed citizens are very effective in reducing crime, that's why I'm glad I live in Florida.

That has always been a rough area, but it doesn't stop me from eating at Gigio's Pizza and going to the famous Green Mill. I grew up not far from it and remember going to the Goblats store that used to be where Borders is now.
