Troy Davis case exemplifies why capital punishment needs to go,Troy guilt is not a certainty nor is his innocence and thus his guilt has clearly not been proven beyond a reasonable doubt, this is a miscarriage of justice.

Unfortunately the federal gov has its hands tied behind its back as the constitution grants autonomy to the states on this issue and the fed cannot do anything without atleast 80% of the congress behind it, Fortunately most States in the union have abolished it independently
