We come back with another video. After a lot of work and studying, Edge and me finish this skill project video of Nightmare.

- FC K, K, B+K, K *Note: Here, Nightmare will back steps with Night Side Stance. Very useful skill against short range enemies.

*The final moves are put only to show a little the properties of the A+K attack throw, 236A auto GI and 6K attack.

4:36 to 5:04
- A+K and B+K airborne strategy

5:04 to 5:15
- 236A auto GI strategy
*This attack works as auto Guard impact agains high and mid attacks.

5:16 to 5:30
- 6K strategy

  • it takes awhile to get a hang of the combos, just a pity that after 3-4 hits they barely do any more damage, makes it not really worth the effort of learning them

    Soul Calibur fighting system has a great damage mitigation (it think it´s fair). It is not a problem to Nightmare because his combos don´t have many hits and his main tool is the tech trap function (and with this ones the damage mitigation doesn´t work). Use the tech traps and enjoy them =)

  • most of these combos don't work. Out of the ones that do work, they need a wall!!. Failed.

    Nightmare works better with wall if the combo is guaranteed. Without wall you can´t get so many hits, but you can do some good damage using the short guaranteed combos I put in the video.

    The other ones need okizemi/ukemi properties to work. It´s called "tech traps". Both Edge and me use Nightmare and all combos work (some of them with more frequency and other ones, less). If the opponent doesn´t move, you may use 236K.K or 44B.B.

    You comment is a fail (NM players say it).

  • most of these combo works n r guarantee if u play right with him. like Vinyears80s said, tech trap n mindfuck ur opponent n u can win.

    ps: i made the same nightmare, looks like the one frm SCII is better than the half body SCIV.

  • @Rustyy444 no the grab is not possible anymore in SC5, his grab is the one u raise with square.

  • What the hell is 3B, CH, WR...So imposible to read that.

  • 0:33 does anyone know how to do that grab in SC5, if its even possible?

  • @Vinyears80s yeah the moves look awesome. i use sieggy though cuss its much easier to control him, not one for difficult combos. :P
