    What is wrong :(

  • You should include your CPU type with your results. Your numbers are pretty average.

  • its a LOW AMD x3 720BE , but i unlocked the 4th core and i overclocked from 2,8 ghz to 3,0 ghz .

    It cant bE :D

  • I would expect slightly better results given OC, but your numbers fall well within the range of reasonable results. If you filter the results page for only 32-bit benchmarks, you actually perform better than average.

  • I just ran prime95 and looked at my results what else can I do with the program?

  • @numptybaws3 You can join the Great Internet Mersenne Prime Search (GIMPS) and donate your spare CPU cycles to search for very large prime numbers. I link to the GIMPS site in the info.

  • So i ran prime95 at the test just stressing out the cpu and when I woke up in the morning I see that my computer is on however, when I move my mouse I see the login screen and I log in and it feels like everything is starting up again however, I look at the results and there is no word on it failing how do I know if prime95 failed or did it finish completely?

  • @McPePsii what's your cpu voltage? I just got mine down to 1.30volts at 3.8ghz on a shitty Hyper N520. Lowering you Vcore helps temps A LOT. This CPU is beast.

What is your CPU volt at? Try 3.8 at 1.35 volts then go down if you can.

  • @rsx123 When I did it I was either on factory setting or I might have changed turbo to 4.0 either way its not a big jump

  • @McPePsii What's your core speed?

  • If you have an aftermarket cooler, put a 120mm fan maybe 4-5 inches away from the intake. I dropped my temps by 7-8 degrees doing that with a CM N520. Fucking amazing. I'm at 3.6Ghz at 1.35vcore on a PII 955 BE with a shitty fucking cooler. Couldn't even get 3.4 without the fan trick.

  • My standard i5-2500k scores the same as an average i7-2600 and more than an average 2500k overclocked by 30%.

  • hey guys... been running this off and on for the last few days checking my cpu...

anyone out there, im looking for a STABLE OC... got a intel core quad extreme (qx6800) stock is 2.93ghz, its on 3.2 right now, how high can i go and where should the voltage be?? using a antec freezer 7 pro cooler...
