These two voices are extremely beautiful together, the two timbres are so complementary. It is also no accident that in the photo, I have Bocelli looking at Caruso as an adored father-type figure:)

After playing with this for a while I prefered it a little out of synch.

  • Nobody is better than Caruso! Nobody!

  • @Figaro48 I agree with you. Bocelli is certainly a great tenor but Caruso is Caruso: the best of all.

  • how did I get here from queen clips ?? :D

  • they are both good, i dont think u can compare the two, they are distinct each one could be better for different purpose of singing

  • Il diavolo e l'acquasanta!!!!!

  • Caruso never needed a microphone

  • @xanxei I understand your point and honestly felt the same way for a while, because I didn't appreciate how rich, vibrant and bright a lyrically trained voice is in comparison with an untrained one. Try listening to Nessun Dorma sung by Pavarotti or Placido Domingo, and then compare it with Bocelli. It's not nearly as room filling, deep, powerful, etc. It's not aesthetics, there's really much more going on in their voices. It takes time to appreciate it, but it's worth it. ;-)

  • Bocelli better than Caruso??? What a naïve conclusion. This whole comparison is jejune exercise. Also Bocelli is strictly a microphone singer. When he attempted an opera on stage it was a huge disappointment.

  • @PDCobo But thanks to this servant opera expanded more than Italians would never dream off... Caruso cemented but Bocelli finished the Job. you're quit ignorant...
