"The Shack" by William P. Young, or Paul Young, is currently without a doubt the most popular book within Christian circles. In fact, its popularity is so widespread that is currently the seventh bestselling book on Amazon.com.
But should Christians be reading this book? Many other Christians, such as Matt Slick, have accused "The Shack" of teaching heresy regarding God's nature, especially the Trinity.
Matt Slick of CARM (Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry) interviews William Young, the author, in this clip and exposes some of the errors in the book. This clip is from Matt Slick's radio show, "Faith and Reason" and is from carm.org.
I'm amazed by people's need to be right. The Shack is obviously a fictional story that is just trying to illustrate the importance of having a relationship with God. Even if it is semantically in consistent with the Bible a couple of times, what is the harm? Will my eternity be affected by the way I interpret hierarchy in the trinity? You people need to chill and lose all of your cynicism. The opposite of open-minded is defensive!

Where is William in this "interview"?

Rayelle7, if you had checked out the previous videos (i.e. "Matt Slick Interviews William P. Young Parts1-5"), you would have known that this is not an "interview", but an interview, and that Mr. Young had to leave early and therefore couldn't remain for the rest of the program. That is why Young is absent from Part 6 and part of Part 5.
