I really do like Flay. Out of all the characters she had the most relateable personality. A rounded character that grew. People do some crazy stuff when they are in love, shock, grief stricken, or any other emotion we can fathom. I am sure anyone would some questionable things when dealing with overpowering feelings. I am not saying what she did was right, by no means, but understandable. I think if Flay had survived Kira and her would still be together. Sorry Lacus, she was first everything!

...but we know if she would have survived Kira and Flay would have had a deeper relationship. This would be nice to see how kiraxLacus would have won but the creator didn't want to complicate so killed Flay. With her death Gundam seed lost much of its emotion so stop attacking her. Flay was one of the most important part in Kira's life development and he'll never forget her. Rest in peace Flay Kira's first love and reason to fight.
