Lamar Queen is an 8th grade math teacher in Los Angeles, his methodology of teaching students includes writing and performing songs to reinforce lessons. When we discovered Lamar he already had a whole text book worth of songs and this video that he made with the help of teachers and students at his school. Although it is not polished, we believe in using art and music to teach children almost anything so we are happy to try and bring his mission of education through the arts to a wider audience. Look for more unique learning from Lamar Queen soon.

I wish this guy had been my algebra teacher 12 years ago. I probably would have gotten it right when I was in junior high instead of struggling with math all through high school and barely passing the math requirement for my BA.
Finally, slope intercept makes sense. I didn't know it was this easy.
Well. You usually learn algebra in freshmen high school, but when your in 8th grade on level (k-level) you learn algebra, and when your in above level (normal class don't know what's it called) you learn pre-algebra. In 7th grade I think it's horizons you learn algebra cause you took a step forward. Hope this helps:)
omgee i remember this video! i was in it! i told my algebra teacher about it last year and shes showing it to the new students this year! she loved it! :D
