Japan started the war with the US of it's own free will, then Germany followed suit by openly declaring war on the US. It had nothing to do with Jews or "jealous of American freedom". You might think Japan struck the US of "its own free will", but Franklin D. Roosevelt practically invited them to attack by freezing all Japanese assets, cutting off trade, including oil. In those times there were no international bodies regulating the rules dealing with trade and finance because there weren't any international rules covering these things. Nor was it illegal for one state to attack another state, as it generally is today, when they were left with no other alternative.

@NellaN1337 If anything I'm more of a democratic socialist. The government should have a say in key areas like key industries, financial and natural resources that should be government controlled and monitored but shouldn't deny the people the right to own property, hold free elections or to improve their own standing in life. There needs to be a balance of freedom and control.

The people in charge at first may have pure intentions at first but over time that government becomes corrupt and abuses its power and this is true of any form of government including national socialism, democracy and communism.

@NellaN1337 Actually you'll find Germany is much happier under democratic rule and their economy proves it, they are the envy of Europe if not the majority of the world at this point in time.
