This reminds me of games in an arcade that spin lights around and it needs to stop on a certain number

will it loop (complete the circle) if there's aprox. 7 milisec to 1 sec flash, in this current setup? ..for example: using it for a car signal / flasher light

@Mallewurf sure. but you would have problem in stability of your oscillator

@wwwGLITCHZcom yes i think it to...but u don`t need an 555, u can use an 4069 with a resistor and a capacitor ;)

comparators aren't enough to make sequencial circuits like this.. you still need flip flops. i dont even think you need comparator.
