Video of my kinmates and I on the third boss in Sammath Gul, the 6 man instance in mirkwood. We didn't do challenge mode as it was getting pretty late.

  • the warden should tank here is the best boss for warden tanking conviction and morale leaches ftw

  • @sutsuprutsu Normally I do tank but in this case we had a good tank who really knows what he's doing so I didn't have a problem letting him tank it. Having two tanks in this fight can help in grabbing all the agro, but you do sacrifice some DPS.

  • Just did this hard mode for the first time (first time for me running any DG instance). And, we did it with me (65 CPT) as main healer (did have RK as backup, but since we had a very good tank, it was pretty easy for me to keep him healed). AOE DPS (champs) are extremely useful for SG.

  • @0600Zulu yeah, I'm heard captains main healing in here - with a rallying cry cooldown legacy I'm sure you can kick out some serious healing in there :) And yeah, good champs really help in SG.

  • That went alot slow, and i dont see the point in having a RK healing while the mini do DPS and why have 2 tanks?

  • @Avo4 yeah, certainly not the optimal group setting but it was a kin group we formed late in the night and just grabbed who was around at the time :) As for minnie/rk roles, that's just how they were traited.

  • Way of the warden, javelin of deadly force, and grand-master weapon training. I un-slotted Way of the warden for the shield capstone but I'm not sure what I'm going with long term.

  • ahaa... what legendary traits you use?

  • @lollebiffen The Way of the Warden combines our 3 stances into one, but can only be used in combat. Once you're out it deactivates and has a 10 minute cooldown. Also, it doesn't benefit from any of the legendary item legacies that buff our stances.

So it is situational, but I use it pretty frequently in longer fights or boss fights.

  • thanks. and that legendary trait the way of the warden or something who give power, moral and some defence. can you have it forever? like the other bufs?
