..everything I felt, every word I wanted to say, but to who she was gone..I thought if I was ever given one more chance to see her I would tell her how sorry I was that I had hurt her and how empty my life was without her in it. Fast track 10 yrs later in 2007 I got my chance..'and she still loved only me'...My past days belong there and though I missed so much of her I am the still the luckiest man alive to have my true love beside me til God gets involved...man I love her and I love this song.

THIs is my mom and my bio dads song, it is nice to know that there is a real man out there who could embrace these lyrics, express hiss remorse then be blessed with finding that love...God bless your future

I still love this song after all of these years.
Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes did not get the publicity of the Temptations or the Four Tops but they are just as good if not better than those groups. Their music has survived time as well. I have been listening to them since the 70s.
