Sifu Edgar Zimmermann is showing free wooden dummy training. It includes elements of the forms of Chu Chung Man and Tang Yik. Tang Yik was the founder of the flexible wooden dummy which is fixed on the wall.

Mal wieder einer mehr der seinen eigenen Verband gründete ? ,und keine ahnung von Wing Tsun hat. Absurdes rumgezappele an der Holzpuppe,halt der eigene Still ,flow - body control geht auch mit sauberer Technik an der Holzpuppe ohne dort einen albernen Tanz zu veranstalten.

leider gibt es noch immer viel zu viele von denen die an das märchen der original erst 140, dann 108 und schließlich 116 holzpuppentechniken von yip man glauben. nach einer anständigen wing tsun-gehirnwäsche ist es natürlich schwer um die scheuklappen ab zu legen. da bleibt man doch lieber eine kopie von denen die die gehirnwäsche verbreiten um diese dann weiter zu verbreiten. diejenigen sind es dann auch, die tatsächlich denken ahnung von flow, body control und sauberer technik zu haben.

@ewoEZ Hallo, gut dass ich eure Antwort hier in Deutsch sehe, dann ich kann ich auch meine Frage auf Deutsch stellen. Ich komme in 2 Wochen nach Enschede und habe bereits ein wenig Cabales Serrada Escrima Erfahrung leider keine Kung Fu erfahren und würde gerne wissen, ob ihr eure Unterrichtsstunden auch auf Englisch oder Deutsch anbietet bzw. ob es schwierig für einen Anfänger ist dem niederländischen Unterricht zu folgen.

I've had training from Edgar for two years. The reason a WingTczun fighter might not recognize the moves is because Edgar has changed many of the stiff form movements and thus fighting techniques into more dynamically flowing techniques that allow for more flexibility and directness. The reason anyone would find it looking weird is because any fight sport like KungFu is so technical they always looks stupid. It means it contains no show elements and is based purely on effective techniques.

ohw yeah, one of the influences on his movements is Ezcrima needless to say...

that's why it's called wing tczun... it is a variation on the mainstream. It combines many insights and still uses the main view of effectiveness, which means being flexible and adapting of mind in its chore... google his website for video's of his innovative style (although it's practice, not combat)
