@DefenderOfThaiFaith Especially at the king's birthday celebrations you'd find practically no-one on the streets wearing any other color, but after the occupation of the airports in 2008 they changed that to pink, because the yellow color was now linked with the PAD/Democratic Party, but you'll still find quite a lot of people wearing yellow on mondays (including me).

since no-one else answered your question: this is most likely filmed on a monday. Some years ago it was most common for a Thai to wear yellow color in order to honor the king who was born on a monday.

@DefenderOfThaiFaith are u sure, man? I'm thai myself and never have I stood for the national anthem except in the mornings at my school.... I know ur supposed to, but I thought nobody actually does it or smth

@Espogaming No everywhere in Thailand where there is a speaker its played at 8AM in 6PM!
Not just schools! Everywhere where you see a speaker its played! Even people with speakers at home out it on full blast at 8AM and 6PM!

Good ol days.
Im farang...but I miss Thailand so much. I love to be in Lumpini park when they play the Anthem, and I never want to be late to a movie becuase I love the King and pay respect during the Royal Anthem.
