Let me just say that maybe I should make my videos in less than a day because they seem to come out better when I do that. lol

Jesus CoE was brilliant, fantastic, heart-breaking, dark, and horrifying. Aww still thinking of Ianto brings tears to my eyes. Yes, he was a fictional character, but I don't care. I would give anything to see him back. Bring in whatever cheap Disney trick you can just bring back the best damn tea-boy in the world. But part of me just thinks that Torchwood is over. It seemed like a good-bye. Ianto's gone, Jack's left cold and empty, and Gwen... well I'm still sorta bitter about the fact she was left relatively unscathed in comparison to the other two.

BTW the last time I felt compelled to make a Torchwood video was when Tosh and Owen died. Something about death's in this show that really get to me

Fandom: Torchwood
Artist: Gary Jules
Song: Mad World

The audio in the beginning is from "The Dead Line" I changed the words around to mean something else, but I think it applies to what Torchwood is.

  • this video makes me cry but i can't stop watching it... its kinda hauntingly beautiful ;|

  • @CorrsCorrsCorrs Thank you very much, that is so sweet. I cried so much while making this video, and I thought it was because it had been so soon after the series aired, knowing that people still cry watching the video makes me realize that maybe us Torchwood fans aren't over it yet.

  • Wonderful! But, where does Ianto say the first bit? Is it from an episode or possibly a radio play? I can't remember hearing him say that...

  • @JantoForever Thank. It's from the radio play The Dead Line. Oh and he doesn't actually say that. I played around with the audio a bit and tried to make it seem like he did. It's in the part where Ianto is talking to Jack and he's in a coma or something.

Once again, thank you for watching.

  • Yep... made me cry like a baby. D:

    Really beautifully done.

  • @sometimespants aww thank you so much for liking it. I cried my eyes out while making it because I started it so soon after Day 5 aired. Children of Earth was just completely heartbreaking.

    Thanks for watching.

  • big like!!!!!

  • This series was my introduction to Torchwood. I was totally hooked. I've watched the entire series now and am watching Torchwood Miracle Day. I loved Children of Earth. I swear I don't think I've cried this much while watching a television show. It was uncompromising in the story telling and that's one of the things I loved about it. American TV could learn a few things in story telling by watching this series.

  • WOW this is just...wow. I cried so much watching CoE, and I still can't quite believe there won't be a Ianto in Miricle Day, but I seek comfort in the idea that Ianto is still there in fanfics and videos like this. Alot of people say 'get over it he was fictional' but he was SO MUCH MORE than that. Thank you for uploading, very lovely video, and the song fits so perfectly! Almost had me crying!

  • This video is so beautiful but it makes me cry. The song is perfect for CoE. Thank you.

  • @CorrsCorrsCorrs Dito...
