  • @richpin06a oh im sorry i meant the tensioner. for some reason the idle pulley was in my head lol.

  • @omarG19100 It is possible but i would remove the whole tensioner,get it on the bench then separate the pulley.

  • @richpin06a to take the to only take the idle pulley off, and not the whole assembly you just bakk off the nut in the clockwise direction? ,or u must remove the whole entire part?

  • @richpin06a hey when i start my car after letting it sit all day it makes like a rattle sound around the belt, but when it warms up it goes away. Do you think the belt needs replacing,

  • HI i have a 1997 ford explorer 5.0 it has the same tensioner....i was looking how you move it so easily to take the belt off. I'm trying to put the belt back on and the tensioner doesn't move at all...any suggestions.
