Listen you. You might find yourself unemployed or disabled some day and have to receive food stamps. Not everyone who receives food stamps is deceiving the government. You are very narrow minded. Why don't you stop whining and realize that there were probably a lot of people who didn't have the "means" to go out and BUY more food. Just be thankful you have a job and hope and pray that you don't find yourself sitting one day down at the department of social services to seek help.

@movinsouth29 I don't have anything against people who get food stamps. It's the way the government treats people with food stamps. People with food stamps shouldn't get treated any differently. If they get reimbursed for their loss, we should as well. That's all.

HELL YES! This might be an old video.... but I love it! I feel ya man, 100%!!!!!!!! I work at a grocery store, so you can imagine how fed up with food stamps I am! Why you might ask?? Because day after day after day after day I see those who abuse it, and buy NOTHING but junk!! It sucks that the good citizens out there that actually NEED food stamps and don't abuse the system are overlooked because of stupid IDIOTS that buy junk food, steaks and crab legs!

Apples are apples, and oranges are oranges. Simple, the Government has insurance on their food, because it is a contract with an organization where they have the account. Just like you have insurance on your car, insurance on your house....you could probably get insurance on your food...as a matter of fact...you can....all you have to do is save your grocery receipts and when your food supply is lost....you can claim this on your homeowners insurance. Tell me different!!!

@videogauntlet You might be interested to know that if you are a homeowner, or a renter, and you have insurance... your policy covers losses caused by power outages to your refridgerator and/or freezer. Usually a policy will cover $250, up to $500, for the loss of your perishable food. There is no deductible, and it isn't a claim that is surcharged or counted against you. In other words, call your insurance agent and replace your food. All you will need is your receipts to be reimbursed. ;)

I worked for 30 years, and I paid out of my pay check money to the government that will be to your benefit if you ever lose your job. Dude, listen to yourself. Why do you think the Government reimbursed? You get a lot of things free right? What are they? Do you hear me complaining about what you get free. I am not so sure if you want to state this as a fair or unfair act. You need to asked someone to educate you on Government subsidies. You accepted federal financial aid for college!

you have a problem, go get some help. find out what there is a such thing as food stamps, and why who gets them gets them. you didn't grow the food, your not selling it, so what business is it of yours to mediate the seller and the buyer. Well, that is exactly what you are trying to do. Trying to tell the Government how to run their negotiations. You are ignorant, that's what I think. You asked for it dude.
