Here's another side to this for anyone you who dont live a larger city with a large population of NAs. My husband is NA, and Ive had a baby boy at our hospital. And his older sister was born at a top dollar hospital in South Beach FL. The care at the NA hospital was far better. Go figure. Kinder staff. More thourough pre-natal. I am from the Crow Creek Sioux reservation just across the river from Lower Brule. Our IHS just took AED's and the Jaws of Life away from our ambulance service. Some members, a former EMS director, and the ambulance service staged a protest today at the IHS but the police came and stated that our Tribal Chairman ordered them to stop it.
