If you mean because of Kennedy's assassination, yes, that made it a bad year overall. But musically, 1963 was not nearly as bad as people claim it was.

Great guitar in this song. It was one of his first three hits released here in Australia; the other two were Come On, and Sheila,with many hits to follow. I was 13 at the time and it brings back great memories.....Thanks.

@1BlubeTube It was actually a RCA Stereo HiFi with a 20 something inch Color TV in the middle. It also had Psychadelic-Lights that flashed over the speaker-grilles when the music played.
