you cant discriminate against people simply because they make you feel uncomfortable. if someone is making choices that you disagree with but is not harming you or society, then what is the problem. We all have to just learn that what works for you may not work for someone else. Lets just co-exist and all respect and love each other! @whoo689 When 2 women claim they're capable of having the same relationship as a man and woman do, they're making a claim that his contribution to relationships, marriage, and family is replaceable and unnecessary. And 2 men claiming their relationship is just as much a relationship or marriage as a hetero committed relationship, dismisses any contribution of every woman, thus also claiming women are inconsequential to relationships, marriage, and family. This is REAL (gender) discrimination.

@eatacid1 If a 80-90 lb anorexic woman sees fat every time she looks in the mirror, should we let her just think she's fat, because it's not harming anybody else? Transgenders and transsexuals experience much higher levels of psychological disorders and neurotic feelings/behaviors than the average person. It's a maladaptive feeling/behavior that occurs when there has been a major emotional disruption in gender development.

When somebody is harmful to themselves, it will affect others too.

We need to quit labeling people so goddamn much when it comes to the issue of sexuality! We need to quit shoving backwards, archaic, narrow beliefs down the throats of anyone who's "different." We've moved on and realized, "You know what? It's not so bad to be gay or bi or trans or have a different sexuality than the majority. That's their choice." Why can't you conservatives move on as well and stop marginalizing these people? They're productive citizens like you.
