Tricia Terry McAllen Memorial Valedictorian 2009

Tricia Terry is the 2009 McAllen, TX Memorial High School Valedictorian. Tricia also qualified to compete in the 1600 meter, 5A Texas State High School Track Meet. Due to the Swine Flu outbreak, the State Track Meet was postponed and rescheduled for the same night as graduation. Tricia made the hard choice of missing graduation and giving the valedictorian speech in person, in order to compete in the track meet. Tricia's speech, as you will see, is about making hard choices and striving for your goals. Thank you to McAllen Memorial High School for making her video speech possible at the graduation. Starting in the fall of 2009, Tricia will attend TCU in Fort Worth, Texas and continue to compete in cross country and track.
