This video also confirms the role of the unwed mother as providing a service for infertile couples, though adoption even at that time is acknowledged by experts to be for the purpose of providing for the needs of orphans.

@moiraaerin Legally speaking, we are non-persons. Motherhood is not as adoption agencies portray it, an act of parenting (nurturing mother) or an act of giving birth (birthmother). It is a state of being. That is why adoption thrives on the denial of maternal personhood. It is a hateful act against womanhood. It is only ever justified in the eyes of the child when adoptive parents manage to kill the mother in the eyes of her child.

Nurses are not supposed to name the Babies, they are not the Biological or Adoptive Parent/s, so why name a Child they are not going to keep. Children are not dolls you can Name & Adopt. Nurses are not supposed to seperate Mother * Child., They are supposed to Nurse Childrens needs, teach the Mother & Father to meet the childrens needs. & they are supposed to allow for the childs emotional needs to be met, by encouraging the Mother & Father to bond with there Child at the right moments.
