Chairman McHenry Calls Elizabeth Warren a Liar at Subcommittee Hearing

On Tuesday, May 24th 2011, during a hearing in a House Oversight and Government Reform subcommittee, Chairman Patrick McHenry (NC-10) ended the hearing by calling Elizabeth Warren a liar. It was a messy and confusing ending for all watching. Warren had stated that the Chairman's staff and her, after a late-night, last-minute schedule change, had agreed to let her leave by 2:15 to meet other obligations. You can see the look of shock on her face when he outright calls her a liar.

@dlacr I think she's being asked to wait for someone to come and ask questions, the other dude said that there was no one there to ask questions. Anyone would be pissed of if they rearranged their schedule, only to find that they had to wait for someone.

in the time it took her to complain abou her schedule, she could have answered a half dozen questions. In football they call it a juke... in politics, they call it business as usual... side step after side step.. never crossing the goal line. Cut it out... and handle the work at hand. Watching this absolutely solidified my support for Scott Brown.
