All this rubbish of racism, "this film will suck," etc.
As an older Disney fan, I'm actually rejoicing the return of these sorts of movies. I bet that more OLDER fans will go see this, then maybe the company will try to appeal to us more XD

I'm glad Disney is going back to 2d, it's traditional roots. This movie looks soo beautiful. This movie better win an academy award like the Beauty and the Beast.

well Jasmine was more along the lines of wanting princes to go away...she was looking for love but she had enough with princes.....and Ariel wasn't really looking for love but adventure but then she saw Eric and her adventure became love

@silverwingedwitch In fact, she really just kinda crushed on Shang...what's so cool about her is that she didn't really fall head over heels in love with him. (at least...not in the first movie...but the sequel doesn't count anyways.)
Honestly, a large majority of disney heroines in the 90's were pretty independent.
