This is such an awesome tune! It's SO awesome that I left it at the start screen just so I could record the entire track. XD The title is literally "Main Theme Half-Minute Hero".

It reminds me a bit of Falcom Sound Team jdk's music. *__*

Also, I'm actually sort of surprised the game would have a rock title track. You'd sort of think that this pixelated 8-bit RPG, SLG, STG, and ACT game would have corresponding beepity boopity bit music. XD

2 things I wanted to state and ask:

1) How did you record the video and sound? I have a PSP-1000 and I'm assuming that since PSP-2000 and above have video output, that's one way.

2) Did you know if you complete the entire game, it opens up the sound test mode? I've been using that to play the songs in the game, but Yuusha 3 was hellish. ;_;

1) Nah, I'm using RemoteJoyLite and outputting through USB and an audio cable. It's a messy setup but it gets things done. ^^

2) You know, I never even noticed! @_@ Thanks though! I'll definitely check it out! ^_^ (And yes, the last mode was insane. I kept laughing every time I failed though ... which was many times.)

Upon some investigation, the theme song was done by a member of some Japanese music group called THE ALFEE.

There's actually a mix of musical artists that were involved with the soundtrack. One big name I recognized was Star Ocean/Tales composer Sakuraba Motoi.

Marvelous got a bunch of different illustrators as well. X__x

It's no wonder there was quite a bit of promotion for the game in Japan. ^^

Ah ok. I just need to get myself an audio cable. I heard of the RemoteJoyLite, but there was apparently another program that came out which could record audio for 1min in a wav file from any point in a game.
