  • I don't understand why the President puts their hand on a Bible. The Bible shouldn't be directly attached to America in that way.

  • I don't wanna verbally bully you, so I will walk away.

  • You should tell us "the story of how the Declaration of Independence almost didn't happen because some dude got drunk at a bar" already.

  • actually george had a bible with him, the same on e that saved his life by stopping a bullet from penetrating his chest where it would've punctured his heart upon entering. After that bible saved his life he kept it with him at all times

  • @sergiovalle21 There is SUPPOSED to be a seperation of church and state, but clearly American government doesn't abide by that if you look at the examples of the bible during the inaguration and the words, "in God we trust" on pennies.

  • I began laughing uncontrollably once you told about the president who refused to wear a coat. There is something deeply ironic about that story.

  • you must tell us about that drunk guy until that happens I will never do my happy dance again

  • not directly elected

  • I'm still waiting on that guy drunk at bar, Declaration of Independence story...

  • @ALF2145 umm.. who's "we"? before there was recorded history, there were people that got to North America (either by boat or walking across a land bridge), probably following food, or who knows why. then there were the Vikings, who got lost, then came for trade. there were the spanish on the west coast, the british on the east, the french and russians for trade. slaves were forced here. since then there have been waves of "us" that have all emigrated to North America for vastly varied reasons.

  • @ilovejonas9722 Isnt there is seperation of church and state?! I think the president elect should put the hand on a top of a copy of the consitition? cause that what they are gonna defend....right?

  • @xaveir14 Thanks for this intelligent response to that comment. I totally agree with you. :)
