@lapinoetlacarrote hey I've been messing around with vvvv and have been trying to recreate thie, I got something like it using the 'rope' object and you said you used grids to draw the ribbons so I tried that, there's like 4 grid objects and they all seem completely different though. I tried the I think DX9 grid but I don't know how to shape it around like I can a rope, is this the wrong grid? I'm really out of ideas of how to get a nice ribbon shape like that using ropes andhowtogethedrips

Grids to draw the ribbons, Perlin noise to shape them.
Some Random, beat detector, and LFOs on Perlin generator for animation.
FFT analysis applied on grids to make the dripping effect.
