The year is 1956, while Hungary is only a small nation within the massive Soviet Block, its invincible water polo team is facing the Russian's in the final at the Olympic Games in Melbourne.
However the teams loyalties are torn between the match and the revolution breaking out on the streets of Budapest, into which they are drawn.
While their friends and family are fighting for their lives and freedom against the Russian army, the Hungarian players are facing their Soviet opponents in the pool, as the eyes of the world watch the bloodiest match in the history of the sport.
Based on a stirring true story. Children Of Glory is released in UK cinemas by Lionsgate on 14th March.

no, it's not a stupid comment. for example, Andy Garcia's "The Lost City," was barely publicized by Lefist Hollywood, and barely shown in the theatres. His movie talked about the truth of Cuba, and the revolution. No surprise with this as well. It's realy very sad.
