PLOT - At the end of S3, Merlin sees what Morgana has done in order to take the throne for herself. Knowing that never telling her the truth ended up distancing them, he decides to perform a spell that will rewind time. No one else knows he's done this, but the trick is... It only works once. Can he change the outcome before it's too late for everyone?

AFTER WATCHING - Basically, what I was trying to show here is that you shouldn't meddle with time. In the end, Merlin didn't make things better. By trusting her more than before, he ended up losing two of the people he cared about the most. Did you really expect me to give this a happy ending? :)

Who else is beyond excited for Merlin to start up again? *raises both hands*

@soundsofmelancholy Yea, I'm not sure I think all of this would have happened if he had actually told her. It's a balancing act. Here, I went for Morgana's hatred for Uther being stronger than her love for Merlin. Morgause fed on that feeling. I just tend to make more depressing AU stories rather than happier ones. Hehe.
