  • Where can I get one?

  • It's called a Powerflare. And in case anyone cares, this is not a commercial!

  • I know that, but I'd like a few, where are these located? Wal-Mart, Autozone, etc?

  • Google Powerflare. They are sold through the company's website and other online stores that carry police, fire, search & rescue, and safety supplies.

  • It's a lithium battery-operated device designed to be a non-polluting alternative to standard road flares. Offers a number of distinctive flashing patterns, and the shell also comes in orange and yellow.

  • from their website: "nvented by a police officer, the PowerFlare® safety light is a safe, cost effective replacement to incendiary flares. PowerFlare® safety lights feature the latest in LED light technology, emitting light in all directions and can be seen for miles at night. Each PowerFlare® unit is about the size of a hockey puck yet is strong enough to withstand being run over by trucks at highway speeds"

  • Ah ok, thank you.

  • this is pretty cool. What exactly is this?
