Interesting 'lost Interview' footage of Cesar Chavez, angry
about events taking place in Delano. Protesters being shot,
a crooked sheriff, and the pressure shows. He also heard
the word, that all of the growers in Delano (26 farms), signed with the Teamsters, behind his back.

Edited together from outtakes and trims, never seen before. We are just starting to archive this 'lost' material.

  • This was a real civil rights movement!!!! The stuff you see today with all this mexican flag waving at marches just isnt the same. They didnt do that back then, so i dont know why they do it now. I am a hispanic american and i feel we need to go back to our old ways of protesting.

  • frikin commie

  • My thanks to old friend and fellow volunteer, Richard Ybarra, for pointing me in the direction of this video. I remember him as he was seen in the background of the vid. I also remember when my late friend and mentor, Cesar Estrada Chavez, looked this good. Viva Chavez! Viva La Huelga!
