Before high school students begin to choose their favorite colleges, they have a much bigger decision to make: Should I take the SAT or the ACT? In order to determine which college admissions exam is right for your child, you need to have all the information. How do these two tests stack up against each other? This presentation by Jed Appelrouth, founder of Appelrouth Tutoring Services, provides a brief overview of the differences between the SAT and ACT tests. It answers many questions from parents such as:

Is grammar tested on the ACT?

What is the Science and Reasoning section of the ACT?

Why is the ACT so hesitant to give extended time to students?

What are the ACT requirements for giving a student extended time?

Does the ACT still flag the scores of students who are given extended time?

What do SAT Math and Reading questions look like?

What do ACT Math and Reading questions look like?

This presentation will introduce you to the differences between the two standardized college admissions tests and help you decide which is best for your student. Part 3.
